Why Galaxy 418L?

Direct 800 V

The 800 V output matches transformerless string inverters and ties the storage to an 800 V PV plant without a transformer used only to adapt the voltage.

Siemens PLC EMS

The EMS runs on a Siemens PLC with PROFINET IRT. Microsecond synchronisation, jitter under 1 μs. Commissioning, maintenance and fault finding are done remotely.

Fast commissioning

Prefabricated modules, commissioning in about three hours. Up to six cabinets, 2.508 MWh together, fit in one 40 ft HQ container.

Grid-forming and FCR

The VSG algorithm supplies virtual inertia for weak grids. No STS. FCR is enabled in software on the Siemens PLC. Up to 100 cabinets in parallel.
